'The Victory Lighter' by Otto Monsted

Constructed from CNC milled 6061 Aluminium in Anodized Silver.

The Victory Lighter is inspired by 1984’s ‘Victory Cigarettes’. The intent is to quantify your smoking habit into rationed units. The lighter holds 15 cigarettes and features a built-in butane table lighter.

INSTRUCTIONS

To refill the Victory Lighter, pull the lighter element out of the base. Flip it upside down and place butane lighter gas canister tip into the center hole. press down vertically to release gas. Fill for 3-5 seconds, some gas will escape in the process. Place lighter back in base and leave for 5-10 minutes before use. If flame is inconsistent, use a small screwdriver to press down on the central hole. this will purge the gas. allow all gas to clear before refilling
