RAINBOW STUDIOS PRESENTS 'BIRD BATH' BY REIF MYERS
24th October - 7th November
'Bird Bath' marks the first solo exhibition on Australia’s east coast for Western Australian artist Reif Myers. Now based in Bali, Reif is recognized for his carefree, unique approach to modern art. From a young age, he developed his own style, blending signature icons with detailed, humorous elements to create what he calls “icebreaker” pieces. His intricate, busy compositions encourage viewers to engage deeply with the work, discovering new stories and sharing a laugh.
Exhibiting both locally and internationally since 2011, Reif is now turning his attention to Sydney, using his distinctive characters to bring the city's iconic locations to life. Bird Bath draws inspiration from some of Sydney’s most celebrated artists, including Ken Done, Brett Whiteley, and Mambo, while adding a fresh Australian twist to his collection of signature icons. The exhibition will showcase a range of small, mid, and large-scale canvases featuring Reif’s colorful and quirky mix of birds, beach umbrellas, boats, and beverages—along with a few hidden surprises. Expect a lively, humorous celebration of the harbor city through his playful lens.

RAINBOW STUDIOS PRESENTS 'SECOND TEN' By Jordy Hewitt
12th - 14th October
Second Ten is Western Australian based painter Jordy Hewitt's first solo exhibition in Sydney. Since completing a Bachelor of Fine Art and Design in 2014, Hewitt has exhibited continuously both locally and nationally in solo and group exhibitions and prizes. In all her work, there’s a sense of exploration and investigation of the world around her and within, often examining the changes they contain. Hewitt's paintings are marked by her development of expressive colour fields through blending and layering with an energy that can feel vexed but also triumphant. Her process is intuitive, contemplative and punctuated with energetic gestures. The works attempt to delight but also delve deep into human experience and permit confrontation of its complexity.

RAINBOW STUDIOS PRESENTS 'RHYTHM' BY DANIEL PAP
4th - 18th July 2024
Based on the Gold Coast of Australia, Daniel Pap is an emerging force in the world of abstract art. Known for his bold and colorful creations, Daniel’s work stands out for its unique style and versatility. His pieces have earned acclaim both locally and internationally, making waves in exhibitions around the globe.
'Rhythm' is Daniel's debut Sydney Solo exhibition. He has created a mix body of large to medium sized works, drawing inspiration from Daniel's love for music, nature and stillness to capture the rhythms of daily life. Daniel use's swift lines to show movement and solid colours to represent calm, aiming to reflect the different tempos and dynamics we experience every day.

RAINBOW STUDIOS Presents 'Reverie' by Tan Arlidge and Joshua Space
CURRENTLY IN VIEW AT OUR DARLINGHURST, SYDNEY SHOWROOM
'Reverie' explores the fluidity of time and space, inviting viewers to transcend perception and experience themselves as one with the work. In a state of reverie within each other's practices, Joshua Space and Tan Arlidge present an exhibition that showcases a synergy of reflective surfaces and bold forms.
Tan Arlidge, a Sydney-based artist, creates soft, fluid sculptural works through the process of thermoforming polymer. Drawing inspiration from organic forms and the interplay of light, shadow, and reflection, Tan's artworks evoke a sense of movement and emotion. Each piece invites viewers to engage with the intricate curves, dynamic shapes, and subtle nuances inherent in thermoformed polymer.
Joshua Space, a Melbourne-based artist, focuses on developing and exploring ideas into a diverse range of objects and art pieces. Space’s work examines how we perceive the world around us, offering a unique perspective on how we see ourselves and our environment.

RAINBOW STUDIOS PRESENTS ' VORTEX' BY ARTIST CASSIDY JACKSON
23rd May - 6th June 2024
Australian Artist Cassidy Jackson is a contemporary Artist from Thirroul, South Coast Australia, based in Mullumbimby, on Bundajlung country, an ever-evolving source of Cassidy's inspiration.
Practicing across canvas, Cassidy explores expressionist, abstract and figurative styles. Alongside her artistry, Cassidy is also a student of Transpersonal Art Therapy.
'VORTEX' is Cassidy's debut Sydney Solo Exhibition exploring bold colours, otherworldly figures, abstract form, and layered textures, emphasising the razor-edged shadow of the human psyche, embracing the darkness.

RAINBOW STUDIOS Presents 'COLLIDE' By Artist Shannon Heath
15th - 29th February 2024
Kicking off 2024 with an exciting Sydney debut Solo Exhibition with Artist Shannon Heath.
Shannon’s work reflects her vast tenure as a designer, specializing in textiles, print, and colour, married with an innate ability to compose textural, expressive compositions.
Heath’s signature style employs ethereal, neon-pastel palettes building layers in dramatic, emotive tableaux. She works with methods of layering and extraction primarily with acrylics, oil sticks and non-traditional painting tools.
'COLLIDE’ invites you on a journey into the realms of chaos and calm, beauty and grit, fast and slow and the magic that arises when opposing forces collide.
