ABOUT BELLA MCGOLDRICK

Bella McGoldrick is a New Zealand-born, Byron Bay-based artist whose path to creativity has been anything but linear. Raised in Melbourne and shaped by years living and working in New York, Bella forged her practice as an independent artist across continents before finding her home in the Northern Rivers.

Renowned for her photorealistic, slice-of-life drawings — a box of matches, a tray of fries, a crumpled receipt. Bella has an extraordinary ability to find beauty in the overlooked and the ordinary. Her work invites viewers to slow down and reconsider the everyday objects that surround them, finding quiet poetry in the details most people walk past.

Between her studio practice and life as a mother, Bella's world is part precision, part play a balance that defines both her art and the way she moves through the world.
