Monique Robinson, founder of LOCKERROOM, specializes in ceramics, with additional work in sculpture, lighting, and creative direction. With a background in Interior Architecture from UNSW, Monique's practice explores the tactile nature of handmade ceramics, emphasizing mark-making and impressions that capture moments in time. Her work draws inspiration from geological and architectural philosophies, often reflecting the natural world. Over the past year, she has been experimenting with clay from mountains and river systems, incorporating natural materials like mudstones and ash into her glazes.
