ABOUT JAKOB JUUL
Jakob Juul, an Artist from Denmark and spent five weeks at our Darlinghurst showroom back in January 2024 marking the beginning of our first International Artist Residency Programme. During this time, Jakob worked on his debut solo exhibition, What Does Tarzan Never Say? And this piece was part of this collection made here in Australia.

Jakob’s unique artistic vision blends playfulness, nostalgia, and emotional depth. His work is characterized by vibrant energy and whimsical charm, often featuring his signature ‘R-bot’ characters—futuristic yet childlike figures that reflect Jakob’s own childhood, evoking a sense of innocence and wonder. These joyful creations invite viewers into a world of lightheartedness, while also offering deeper, more conceptual layers of meaning.
