RAINBOW STUDIOS PRESENTS 'DOUBLE BOUNCE' BY CAT YENN

Cat Yenn is a Sydney-based artist and designer.

Curious by the quiet ways people interact with their surroundings, she creates work that offers pause — playfully transforming overwhelming emotion into stillness. Drawing from design principles, her compositions balance structure and whimsy, giving flat shapes depth and static elements movement. After years working as a digital designer, Cat deliberately avoids any computer assistance and tape,  conceptualising and painting every work by hand.  

'Double Bounce' Cat's debut Solo Exhibition, like two friends on a trampoline propelling each other higher and higher, 'Double Bounce' explores the sensation of feeling both heavy and weightless, peaked with a moment of joy. This series represents that suspended nervousness that turns into a thrill as you launch back up. 'Double Bounce' is a playful exchange between space and tension, an invitation to be enveloped in moments of displacement and discovery.
